PV hybrid system uses solar energy and other sources like grid or diesel generator to power loads, hybrid system is also equipped with back up batteries. In hybrid system, electricity feedback is not recommended. By using hybrid sources, system cost can be reduced and stability is guaranteed. The priority to different electricity source can be set through inverter.

Principle of PV hybrid system:
In PV hybrid system, the first electricity source can be set through inverter. Generally, the first electricity source (say solar energy) powers the system, when it is cut down or not enough, the second electricity source (say diesel generator) will be activated and keep system working. When the first source recovers, second source cut down. By this operation, the system capacity can be controlled and resources can be utilized max. PV hybrid system is suitable for regions where there is grid power but grid is not stable.
